Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 1.09%

Nifty Realty index ended up 1.09% at 484 today. The index has gained 9.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sobha Ltd rose 7.22%, Macrotech Developers Ltd added 2.49% and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd slipped 2.21%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 19.00% over last one year compared to the 11.89% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index gained 1.06% and Nifty Bank index has dropped 0.77% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.25% to close at 18487.75 while the SENSEX has slid 0.31% to close at 62428.54 today.
